The UTA was formed in 1995 to provide quality products and services to Owner Operator, Independent Contractors and the Small Fleet Owners and their drivers. The UTA knows how important you are throughout the Trucking Industry. Our thousands of members allow us to go to various Vendors and Insurance Companies and negotiate quality programs and pricing through our BIG GROUP BUYING POWER.

All of the products offered by the UTA are specifically chosen to be beneficial to a trucker, their family, business and trucks. Some of these benefits are provided directly by UTA while others are offered directly by our partner vendors.

By offering these products and services directly to the Owner Operator, Independent Contractors and the Small Fleet Owners, completely separate from the Motor Carrier, we help preserve your independent status. For any truck insurance products, the UTA has designated Associated Underwriters, Inc., (AUI) a Managing General Agency, located in McKinney TX, to be the exclusive broker to offer these to our members. AUI is properly licensed for all insurance product lines in all states where these products are offered.
